I attended the Absolute Indian Cookery Class and highly recommend it. You start by choosing which 'menu' you want to learn from the website and simply book online. It couldn't be simpler.

The session took place at Nicholas Brakespear School in St Albans and made use of one of their excellent teaching kitchens. I think I was fortunate as there were only two of us on the course but 6 could easily be accommodated and it would be a great activity of a group of friends to organize together.

Now, the food! The ingredients were superb (and authentic), the instruction was simple and informative and even with my total absence of culinary ability, under the correct supervision, I was able to knock out what my wife condescended to acknowledge as a pretty passable curry! I now cook Chapattis from scratch in 5 mins!!

The ingredients, quality of instruction and entertainment that this course provides makes it excellent value for money (let's face it - a decent curry for 2 will set you back £20) and I have no hesitation in recommending it. I'm looking forward to learning a different menu in the future. My recommendation: Book now!
