Please leave a review for Anastasias Greek Restaurant

I had a family event at Anastasia’s recently and the customer service was fantastic. Costas the owner really looked after us, the food was amazing, great portions and we weren’t hurried out of the door.

I love Greek food and the Meze at Anastasia's really made me feel like I was back in Andros. Very good.

I had a christening event at Anastasias as it’s opposite St Peters church. The day was made even more memorable by the way the staff looked after us. The food was so tasty and reminded me of my time travelling the Greek Islands. We were even allowed to smash some plates. Well worth the bill (which wasn’t as much as i thought it would be).

We had just got back from greece and you know what its like - a longing to be back there...and the astmosphere, decoration and friendly staff did it - and wonderful food too.

A group of 20 of us went to this restaurant to celebrate a friends birthday. 12 of us opted for the meze - what a mistake- the food was either cold or warmish but served on cold plates, there was no where near enough food to go round. I had 2 pieces of Hullomi, 2 pieces of calamari, some salad which had been sat in the fridge with its dressing on for hours! Even the pitta bread was cold and hard and not much of that either. For £20 ahead I didn't think thIs was value for money. However we were determined to enjoy the evening so kind of forgot about the food and made the most of the dancing- John Travolta an all!!!

I went to Anastasias restaurant with a group of 8 last night for a family get-together. The food was great. I opted for the Pitta Gemisti as a starter and Giant King Prawns for my main. Way too much food for me to eat. All of my family also loved the food, 3 of them opting for the meze which they couldn’t finish. The entertainment was hilarious, especially the chap who dresses up as Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and the Diet Coke man. I wouldn’t say it’s stars in their eyes, more the bloke has eaten too many pies. The man that was doing the Greek dancing was great fun and I loved the conga idea. There was much laughter, singing and whooping from the whole of the restaurant. This is most definitely the best Greek restaurant in St Albans and probably the whole of Hertfordshire.

I had a lovely anniversary meal at Anastasias. I wasn’t sure about going mid-week to the restaurant as it’s viewed as a party venue. But it couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s a nice quite setting, dim lights and greek music playing in the background. The food really does taste authentic. The Keftedes are wonderful and my husband was certainly enjoying the portion size.

I have just had a superb meal at Anastasias, I went on a Tuesday evening and the Restaurant was delightful. I spent the evening with my family and we all had the meze. The waiter/owner was very helpful and polite and the food was delicious.

I must say I was a little sceptical at first after reading all the mixed reviews.I must say now that I have been to Anastasias, I would definitely go back and the food and service were outstanding. Thank you for a great night.
