Redbourn Pre-School (formerly Busy Bees) was established in 1987 by local parents who wanted an affordable Play-Group in Redbourn. It is a registered charity, managed by a volunteer committee of parents. We aim to provide a safe and happy environment in which children can learn and develop through play with the emphasis on fun!!!
Redbourn Pre-School is registered with Ofsted, who inspect to ensure standards are maintained. The most recent reprt (Nov 2007) stated "the quality of teaching and learning is good". A copy of the report is available to read via this website under the Ofsted Report link above.
Redbourn Pre-School is also a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance, a national registered eductational charity.
Current fees are £12.00 per session, Government funding is available for children who qualify after their third birthday.
Daily Routine:
9.15 Children chose from a wide variety of activities
9.45 Cirlce Time registration, discuss topic and show & tell
10.00 Small group activities
10.15 to 10.30 Children are encouraged to have a snack and a drink
10.30 to 11.00 Finish off activities and chosing
11.00 Tidy up time
11.15 Musical activities
11.30 Outside play
12.00 Storytime
12.15 Hometime
