The Robin Hood is less than 5 minutes walk from the main train station and a further 5 minutes walk in to the town centre. So is a great place to meet up with friends for a chat over a fantastic choice of cask ales, and ‘home made’ meals, we have a huge garden to enjoy the ‘hot’ summer days. We are well known for our friendly atmosphere and always love to see new faces.

We cater for parties and also have live music.

We stopped off at the Robin Hood as part of a pub crawl. The landlady was a treasure (Hi Tessa). We’d had a few at this point and she made us feel so welcome we went back for another on the way home.

Melon Heads

The Robin Hood is a good honest local with wide selection of food as well as the usual beers and wines. Often go in for a pint and sandwich at lunch and always leave well satisfied. Worth stopping in when walking down to the station.

BlueJ

The Robin Hood is a great example of a typical boozer and I love it. If you like your pubs the way they should be and not gastro pubs then get yourself down there.

Dave the local

This is a pub to avoid. The landlady is always on the wrong side of the bar and is generally unprofessional. The pub is dirty and the food, well, don't even go there. Grease with most things.
