Most of our menu is home cooked, try our Cider Soaked Ham, roasted in Honey and Mustard, or winter casseroles, summer salads, and of course our famous doorstep sandwiches and toasties.

A little of the beaten track, they have a really nice garden for the hot months (whenever they are). The Spotted Bull is a typical boozer, juke box, fruit machine and good choice on the beer pumps. The menu is typical pub grub. Cut a long story short - i like this pub!

A great sunday lunch to be had here. Two courses under a tenner. We are regulars, and are amazed more people haven’t discovered it. Choice of fours meats and the famous steak and ale pie which is massive. A proper sunday roast!

Wow. What a great Sunday Roast. The Spotted Bull clearly know a thing or 2 about cooking. With a choice of 5 meats I opted for the Beef, this was served with 6 vegetables, roast potatoes like my mum makes, yorkshire pudding and a massive pot of gravy. The wife had Chicken, ham and leek pie served with the same amount of veg as a roast. The kids ate for free which is the best deal i’ve ever heard of. Not many places of children free food. They had roast chicken with all the trimmings and they also did not go hungry with larger than normal portions. I would have loved to have sampled the desserts but I had no room and had to unbutton my jeans when driving home. I will most certainly return.

Great local pub! Warm and friendly atmosphere and the sunday roasts are a must try! One of the few pubs these days with such a character. Definitely worth going again and again.
